Geekspeak Supplemental #8: Central Beat...with Bryan!
You know, geeks are generally well-rounded individuals and I am certainly no exception. I spent four years studying political science and have covered elections in the past. This time of year, as tired as it makes me, is like an eleven-month-long Christmas.
I'm also the graduate assistant for the news program here at CMU, and the advisor for the news division of Modern Rock 91.5. As such, I have a vested interest in how that turns out, and decided I would let you all check out one of the other shows the station has to offer: Central Beat!
Central Beat is a half-hour long news program that airs at noon (Eastern time) on Saturdays. Long-time Geekspeakers will be interested to know that none other than our own Lindsey used to run it when she was the station news director. Now I'm advising it, and was invited to be on the show by the current news director. So I did. It's a good show and I think it'll be fun to talk about something different.
