Geekspeak Season 2, Episode 11

You'd think we would have learned from the last time we tried a five-person episode, but if there is one thing we are known for here at Geekspeak, it is not exactly our pattern recognition. Regardless, I lay before you the latest edition of the Geekspeak podcast, wherein our heroes discuss old folks playin' the Wii and Hugo Weaving in the News of the Week, Frank (and everyone else) gives out picks for Wrestlemania in this week's Frankly Speaking, Lindsey talks about Nike and iPod getting nice and cozy, and Bryan discovers the secret to in-show harmony in his review of TMNT. All this, plus the respective returns of Kevin Wilson and Katie Beckman to the show, and you've got another incredibly packed show that's just itching to be downloaded.

Geekspeak Season 2, Episode 10

Despite a rocky start thanks to new equipment at Geekspeak Central Command, this episode went off pretty smoothly. We discuss homemade fusion reactors, compressed air cars, and a followup to "300" in The News of the Week, Frank chats about Kevin Federline's search engine in this week's Frankly Speaking, Lindsey raves about Geek Monthly magazine in this week's Two Minutes, and we welcome special guest and Something Awful writer Kevin Wilson into the studio to fill us in on bad video games and Internet tomfoolery. We get a little silly in this episode, I'm not going to lie.

Geekspeak Season 2, Episode 9

After a well-deserved break, we're back with another helping of Geekspeak. This week, we're part of an upcoming retrospective about on-air host Modern Rock 91.5, as video cameras are allowed into the studio for the first time and Lindsey runs in and out all willy-nilly. We also mourn the death of an American icon as we talk about what Captain America meant to us all, try to explain really super-complicated physics, and wonder why in the world Turkey would want to block YouTube in the News of the Week. Frank talks about gaming canon in Frankly Speaking (yes, that's "canon" with one "n", I checked). Lindsey informs us of an exhibit now featured in Detroit that puts the human body on display in Two Minutes of a Girl Talking. Bryan reviews "300" and also makes a really bad attempt at a reference in this week's intro. And in our 60-Second Soundoff, it's the special "In A Fight!" edition, wherein we ponder if Batman could overtake the sun, if Lincoln could defeat Roosevelt, and if any force on earth can stop Chuck Norris.

With all this stuff, we really should charge you. But you get it for free! You can download the podcast by clicking here.
