Geekspeak Season 9, Episode 8: The Good Kind of Con

Comic-Con 2009 is in the books, but it ain't over until Geekspeak says it is. And we've decided to say it is by not only devoting the entire show to what went down at the "con" but by also welcoming published author and all-around super badass Brian Swafford to sit in with us and relate his stories of not only GOING to the convention, but also being a panelist. Find out what the crew has to say about the big Metalocalypse news, the Iron Man 2 sizzle reel, the Futurama situation, EA's latest jackass publicity stunt, and more! This is a good one, folks, and you can download it here.

Geekspeak Season 9, Episode 7: Stores Turn Fours

This episode of Geekspeak was recorded in front of a live studio audience. Well, kind of. It was more of a comic book store than a studio. And it was more of a "group of people who were there to play Magic" than an audience, but they did seem to enjoy our shenanigans! This week, we talk about bionic geese, DC Comics news (lots of it!) and artificial sperm cells, among other stuff. Also: We are joined by a 12 year-old, and eventually Steve Wagner. Download it.

Geekspeak Season 9, Episode 6: In Which Wags Is Satisfied

Tried some new methods for recording. Think they worked out better. Doesn't really matter to you, though. Here's what matters: Soil powered clocks, Claire might kiss a girl and like it, Bioware wants to make a violence-free game, some other stuff, and then Wags gets his wish when another story involving bodily functions being used to make fuel is discussed. Download it now.

Geekspeak Season 9, Episode 5: Those Poor Mice!

A bout of pneumonia (or lack of interest, I'm not sure) culled the cast down to three this week. Sucks for the rest of Team Geekspeak, because this week was pretty awesome...and weird. Weirdly awesome? I don't know. We talked about lost NASA tapes and The Pirate Bay going legit, and finally fulfilled our public service obligations with the FCC by giving you not one, not two, but three stories in one of the biggest Robocalypse Updates ever! Find out what menace robot girlfriends, pest-killing automatons, and bloated Michael Bay movies pose to you by downloading the podcast now!
