Geekspeak Season 3, Episode 5

So I got a new episode of Geekspeak here. You probably want it. We've got updates on the Manchester Cathedral situation as well as the looming Robocalypse in the News of the Week, and a review of Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer (Spoiler: Katie didn't like it, Bryan sort of did). Frank talks about the pure ridiculosity of the Mr. McMahon death angle in Frankly Speaking. Katie tells us about a book purporting to discover the way that the modern adult's mind works in Katie at Large. Jake's got talk of the Wii being used for physical therapy and a couple quick news bits In Lahmann's Terms. And you can learn the origin stories of your favorite Geekspeakers as they relate their geek awakenings in this week's Soundoff. Then things sort of take a turn.

It's another hour of geeky goodness, and you can download it by clicking here.

Geekspeak Season 3, Episode 4

I'm strapped for time and therefore don't have the energy to write pithy comments about this episode. So here are the bullet points:

- Evil humanoid robots and Sony ticks off the Church of England in the News of the Week
- Clueless referees and 12 year-old girl wrestlers that kick butt in Frankly Speaking
- Star Wars, Robot Chicken, and Wookiee noises in Katie at Large
- Prince of Persia: The XBLA remake and the movie, In Lahmann's Terms
- Han vs. Chewie and other existential dilemmas, plus a direct challenge to a listener in the Soundoff

Geekspeak Season 3, Episode 3

The third season heads into its third episode and things get a little kooky. Bryan talks about Microsoft Surface and remotes to take care of annoying theatergoers in the News of the Week. Frank talks about book burning in this week's Frankly Speaking. Katie talks about Harry Potter and pushes the show into probably its biggest off-topic conversation ever, and Jake talks about Nintendo or something in Lahmann's Terms. And, in our soundoff, folks get downright testy over cute CGI animals. Remember: it's free, so you can't complain!
